Hokusai The Great Wave Folding Travel Umbrella

Going places? Stroll local streets or promenade avenues around the globe – RainCaper has you covered. A RainCaper Folding Travel Umbrella is small enough to tuck in a pocket or purse, but still large enough to take care of business.

This design features Katsushika Hokusai's dynamic woodblock print, The Great Wave. This Edo Period masterpiece is the most famous in the artist's series, 36 views of Mount Fuji.

  • AUTO-OPEN & CLOSE: Easy to operate with one hand. The canopy automatically opens and closes with the push of a button.
  • PREMIUM QUALITY: Unbreakable rust-free aluminum and fiberglass composite frame provides the best protection and flexibility to withstand windy conditions. RainCaper umbrellas are sturdy and durable, with eight rib frames for added strength. 190T polyester pongee fabric is tightly woven and is waterproof, of course!
  • FUNCTIONAL WORK OF ART: Katsushika Hokusai's iconic oil painting "The Great Wave" is beautifully replicated on this RainCaper folding travel umbrella.  The vivid colors are true to the original art and will not fade.
  • EXTRA LARGE CANOPY, LIGHT WEIGHT: The 43" arc offers maximum coverage for adults. Weighs just 11oz and includes a secure elastic wrist strap and matching cover to keep your car or bag dry.
  • COMPACT FOR TRAVEL: 11" long when folded up. Easy to slip into a tote, backpack, purse, suitcase or travel bag to arrive in style and prepared for any weather. A RainCaper folding small travel umbrella is the perfect gift, a must-have in any vehicle and a smart travel essential.

Perfect pairing of image and function

Most of the umbrellas I have seen with artwork reproductions are too bold for my taste. The colors and theme of this one are perfect. It is relatively light and seems to open and close well automatically. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that I have not really used it yet to assess its sturdiness.
