Museum Collection - First Release
Maurice Prendergast's 1899 painting "Umbrellas in the Rain" is beautifully replicated on our RainCaper. This stunning work of art is shown on the front and again on the back, complete with the artist's signatures. The original watercolor painting is exhibited and owned by the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Licensed.
A perfect addition to any wardrobe. Very lightweight, yet it gives full coverage with a great quality look and feel! This is a perfect cover-up for any type of outing... reversible design is a great plus!!
This is honestly the nicest rain cape I have ever seen. I love capes because my purse is hidden and it stays dry in the rain. I will use it day & night on my cruise and Europe vacation. I tried it out on a chilly, windy day and it does block the wind and kept me cozy, just as promised. Generous size, so if I spend too much time at the buffets... no one will ever know. :)
I travel lots for work and this will be nice to keep me dry with free hands to carry laptop and purse. The cape will do nicely with professional clothing. I like the weight as it will be fine for all seasons.
I haven't had a chance to test this cape in the rain yet, but I love the soft fabric and the pouch it comes with! I've put it in my suitcase as part of my travel stuff... I've been looking for a soft rain cape for years and was thrilled to see one in the Winterthur Gift Shop -- I didn't buy it there but looked for it online when I got home and was thrilled to find it in multiple colors... I love the green and black!
