Wright submitted a series of cover designs to Liberty magazine. All were rejected as too "radical" and never published. Saguaro Forms was his interpretation of a desert landscape. The image became one of Frank Lloyd Wright's most popular and was made into a stained-glass feature for the Arizona Biltmore Hotel.
