Artfully chic RainCaper Fine Art Shawls are functional, fashionable and fabulous! Wrap yourself in this luxurious Klimt Hope II shawl which can be worn in various ways. This stylish women's shawl is silky-soft and has a delicate eyelash fringe giving it a touch of elegance – a wearable work of art!

Klimt painted the elegant "Hope II" in 1908, during what art historians refer to as his "Golden Period". His model, Herma, was heavily pregnant, and he depicts her almost like a greek icon or goddess, wrapped in rich robes and covered in shimmering patterns and jewels. The elegant geometric pattern on Herma's robe is the inspiration for our "Hope II" RainCaper design. The painting currently hangs in the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

Looks as advertised

I cant speak to its durabilty but it looks good and feels nice on the skin. I dont think its too fair to give something 5 stars without a test of function/strength and fashion. if i can i would like to post a review in the future talking about if it tears easy, does it hold color after rain/washing or human oil buildup/contact after a while. Ill always be for lifespan/durability of a product.Does the fabric feel the same after a bit of wear, tear, or cleaning? How good it looks doesnt matter if it cant hold up to the most minor of inconvenience that happens to all long pieces of fabrics or free flowing clothes that get caught in doors.

Beautiful Shawl, Exceptionally Crafted

Loved the colors & design in the shawl and used as a wrap for a couple solid-colored bathing suits on vacation. The weight was perfect and shawl did not wrinkle with travel. Also, it washes easily in lingerie bag on delicate. Exceptionally pleased with purchase!
