Will this remote work with other brands?

We can't guarantee it will work (although it might!). Infrared remotes work similarly to a TV remote — they require line of sight. The signals are not standardized across brands, so other candle brands may use a different frequency. This means that even if two remotes look identical, they may not communicate on the same channel or use the same internal "language."
